Please read until the end. You might find the information helpful for your stay.

HEATING and COOLING

These are the controls for heating and air conditioning. Please note that the air conditioning doesn’t work in winter. 

MUSIC

From 7 am to midnight you can use the inbuilt speakers (power saving during the night). 
Please connect your mobile phone to “Guest House Audio” and enjoy (after having connected to the WiFi Network mikguest)

TV

There are no free to air TV programs. You can connect your devices wirelessly or via HDMI cable to stream your favourite stations.

 

You can watch NETFLIX on all televisions by logging into your account. If you should forget to log out before you leave, don’t worry, we will do it for you.

KITCHEN

WATER

 

The water from the tap is filtered and perfectly drinkable.

 

CUTLERY

 

You can find the cutlery in an inside drawer in the 3rd cupboard from the left

 

 

 

 

FRIDGE and PANTRY

Please use anything you find in the fridge or the pantry 

 

 

LAUNDRY

WASHER/DRYER

 

You can of course use the washer/dryer in the storage area. There is a frame with all available programs on the countertop. 

 

The light in the storage room turns on automatically (and off after 5 minutes) when motion is detected

 

You can also use the drying rack at the south side of the building (the side facing the sea).

 

 

GARBAGE

In Cabrils garbage is segregated as follows:

  • Glass (all colours) – green lid bin
  • Paper/carton – blue lid bin
  • Packaging (everything except glass and paper) – yellow lid bin
  • Organic – brown bin
  • Rest – grey bin

 

 

BBQ

You can use the BBQ in the outdoor kitchen. The gas bottle is behind the door to the right of the BBQ. To turn on the gas, please move the black lever towards the tube side of the valve. 

 

After use, please turn off the gas again. 

 

You need to light the BBQ with the provided lighter.

 

Please be aware that the water from the tap in the outddor kitchen is not drinkable.

There are mosquito nets in the upper parts of the windows in the bedrooms and the bathrooms so you can open the windows with no mosquitos entering

You can open or close the shutters/ blinds with these controls which you can find close to the windows (sometimess behind the curtains).

There are some games in the drawer of the wooden bureau in the Living Room.

Please don’t use glass close to the pool. There are plastic cups in the kitchen drawer.

You can find yoga mats on the cupboard to the left entering the storage room

You can find pool/beach towels in the storage room next to the guest house entrance (the other wooden door).

Parking:
It is perfectly ok to park on the street in front of the house.

On Thursday mornings between 7 and 8 am our pool guy Lassi comes and stays for around 45 minutes. On Saturday morning our gardener Bafily comes at 8am in summer and 9 am in winter and stays for 5 hours.

And for last, you would help us tremendously if you could close the shutters of the window facing the sea in case of rain. This is a fixed window which only can be cleaned from the outside and it's very hard to reach. Thank you so much!!!
